Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the asset upgrading, maintenance and replacement works at Sg Langat Water Treatment Plan (Sg Langat WTP) are being actively implemented. As of 3:00 pm today, the works have reached 72% and are still underway according to schedule.
The asset upgrading, maintenance and replacement works are expected to be completed at 7:00 pm, 10 October 2023 (Tuesday). Water supply will start to be distributed in stages to consumers once the water supply distribution system has been stabilised and is expected to fully recover at 12:00 pm, 12 October 2023 (Thursday).
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres and funerals.
