Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform on the water supply disruption due to the temporary shutdown at the Bukit Nanas Water Treatment Plant (Bukit Nanas WTP) on 21 June 2024 (Friday) following an increased colouration in the treated water at Bukit Nanas WTP, in which Air Selangor is still investigating the cause.
Following this incident, parts of the Kuala Lumpur region is experiencing unscheduled water disruption. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of affected areas.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises. Air Selangor is making every effort to minimise the impact of disruption on affected consumers.
