Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform the latest status of the unscheduled water disruption that is affecting the Petaling and Kuala Lumpur Regions following the broken pipes incident in Damansara Utama due to landslides. Water supply at the Kuala Lumpur Region at the affected areas have fully recovered as of 9:00 a.m earlier. As of 3:00 p.m. today, a total of 93% or 40 areas in the Petaling Region have fully recovered from the overall 43 affected areas. The areas that have yet to fully recover in the Petaling Region are Kampung Bukit Lanjan, Kampung Sungai Penchala dan Pinggiran TTDI.
Relief water supply through water tankers are still made available for the convenience of the affected consumers.
Air Selangor advises consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor hopes that the consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure the recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
