Kuala Lumpur –Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of a burst pipe incident at Persiaran Perusahaan, Seksyen 23, Shah Alam. To ensure that the emergency repair work runs smoothly, Air Selangor will suspend the water supply at 10:00 pm, 23 September 2021. This will cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in six (6) areas in the Shah Alam Region. The list of affected areas are as follows:
1. Seksyen 18
2. Seksyen 19
3. Seksyen 20
4. Seksyen 23
5. Seksyen 24
6. Seksyen 25
The repair work is expected to be fully completed at 6:00 am tomorrow, 24 September 2021. The water supply will be distributed in stages once the repair work is completed and is expected to fully recover at 12:00 pm, 24 September 2021.
Air Selangor would like to advise the affected consumers to store adequate water supply and use water prudently during the unscheduled water supply disruption period. Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear face masks while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
