Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the upgrading and maintenance works for critical assets in Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant (SSP1 WTP) have been completed at 5:00 am, 14 October 2021.
As of 6:00 am, the SSP1 WTP water treatment system has been stabilised and the water supply has been distributed to the water supply distribution system. The water supply will be distributed in stages to the consumers starting from 5:00 pm, 14 October 2021. The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise alternative water supply to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres, COVID-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) and Vaccination Centres (PPV) as well as for funerals.
