Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of the latest update of the decrease in water level at a reservoir in Sime UEP, USJ following the technical problem on the main distribution pipe that supplies water to the reservoir at Sime UEP in Kg. Kenangan, Puchong.
As of 6:00 pm today, water quality testing is being carried out to ensure that the treated water meets the standards set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Water supply will start to be distributed to the consumers in stages once the water supply has been certified as safe and clean for daily consumption.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral services. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all time while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
