Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to update on the water supply recovery in the Klang and Petaling Regions following the emergency repair works for the electrical system failure at the pump house in Bukit Jelutong U8, Shah Alam.
As of 6:00 pm, the water supply recovery in the 41 affected areas has reached 32%. The percentage of water supply recovery status in the affected regions is as follows:

The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premise. Water supply in all affected areas is expected to fully recover at 9:00 am, 26 February 2022.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will continue to be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption. Air Selangor is seeking the consumers’ cooperation to practise social distancing and wear face masks while collecting the water supply from the water tankers.
Air Selangor advises consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor also hopes that consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure that the water supply recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
