Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of the latest update on the water supply recovery in the Kuala Lumpur region following the emergency repair works on the pipe burst in Jalan Kuari, Kg Cheras Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
As of 6:00 pm, the water supply recovery in the affected areas has reached 62%. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of areas that have not recovered.
The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 4:00 am, 12 March 2022.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will continue to be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption. Air Selangor is seeking the consumers’ cooperation to practise social distancing and wear face masks while collecting the water supply from the water tankers.
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor also hopes that consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure that the water supply recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
Consumers can refer to all our official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300 to obtain information on the incident from time to time. Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
