Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the asset upgrading and maintenance works at Sungai Rasa Water Treatment Plant (Sg Rasa WTP) have commenced at 9:00 am today (Tuesday) according to schedule as announced on 26 July 2022.
The asset upgrading and maintenance works are expected to be completed at 9:00 pm, 9 August 2022 (Tuesday). Water supply will be distributed in stages to consumers once the water supply distribution system has been stabilised. The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of the consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. The water supply in all 188 areas in the Hulu Selangor region is expected to fully recover by 1:00 am, 11 August 2022 (Thursday).
The list of areas affected by the scheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.
Air Selangor has mobilised water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres and funerals.
For commercial customers, treated water supply purchase can be made at Air Selangor’s customer service counters in the Petaling and Gombak region. Commercial customers can use their own water tankers at the local water filling station made available in Batu Caves and Damai Utama, Puchong.
Consumers can obtain information on the scheduled water supply disruption from time to time via all our official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300. Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
