Air Selangor Celebrates Three Charity Homes in conjunction with Christmas

Kuala Lumpur – In sharing the joy of Christmas, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme Sesama Mara extended donations to three (3) charity homes.

Through this programme, Air Selangor has donated necessities such as kitchen items, food and home furnishings to children and the elderly at Pusat Jagaan Rumah Kanak-kanak Triniti Petaling Jaya, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary, Setapak and Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, Desa Petaling.

In addition to aiding and visiting all the charity homes involved, Air Selangor also gifted the children in these charity homes with Boboiboy Air merchandise to cheer up their Christmas celebration.

This contribution is hoped to help the charity homes in safeguarding the welfare of the less fortunate, especially in celebrating Christmas this upcoming Sunday.

On this occasion, Air Selangor would like to thank all parties who supported and strived to make the Sesama Mara programme a success throughout 2022.

Under the Sesama Mara programme, Air Selangor has distributed its Box of Hope, consisting of essential food items, to the underprivileged. As of December 2022, over 3,000 Box of Hope boxes has been distributed to B40 communities around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

To facilitate sincere donations of Box of Hope, the initiative has been amplified to a digital platform so that the public can donate through online transactions via www.airselangor.com/boxofhope/.

The existing Box of Hope donation method in the form of physical purchase can still be done at five (5) Box of Hope Village Grocer locations, namely Tamarind Square Cyberjaya, MyTown Cheras, 1 Mont Kiara, I-City Mall Shah Alam, and Melawati Mall.

The Sesama Mara programme consists of grassroots initiatives that aim to help the surrounding community as well as strengthen Air Selangor’s relationship with stakeholders from various walks of life such as the local community, resident associations, local authorities and NGOs.
