Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) today formalised strategic partnerships by signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with SUHAKAM, Yayasan Hijau Malaysia, and Malaysian Youth Delegation during its Customer Experience (CX) Week 2024 launch. These partnerships aim to enhance water conservation efforts, promote the right to clean water, and foster community education on sustainable water management practices.
The MoU with SUHAKAM focuses on workshops and public awareness initiatives highlighting water conservation and environmental responsibility, while the partnership with Yayasan Hijau Malaysia includes educational programmes and interactive displays to promote environmental awareness. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Youth Delegation is centred on equipping young engineers with skills and knowledge in water resource management, addressing the critical challenges of climate change.
Adam Saffian Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer of Air Selangor said, “Air Selangor is committed to more than just providing safe and clean treated water; we aim to play an active role in promoting sustainability and empowering communities, formalising these partnerships underscores our dedication to fostering awareness about water conservation, environmental responsibility, and access to clean water. Through collaborations like these, coupled with the activities during our CX Week, we hope to inspire collective action towards a more sustainable and community-driven future”, he added.
Themed ‘CX For All’, CX Week is a week-long event aimed at igniting a culture of best customer experience services across its company and staff. The event features activities and discussions designed to integrate sustainability, digital innovation, and community engagement into Air Selangor’s operations by empowering employees with the knowledge, skills, and tools to provide exceptional service.
