Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of the upcoming asset upgrading and maintenance works at Sungai Langat Water Treatment Plant (Sg Langat WTP). The implementation of these works will cause a scheduled water supply disruptions in Petaling, Kuala Lumpur and Hulu Langat region starting from 9:00 am, 10 October 2023 (Tuesday). These works are expected to be completed by 7.00 pm, 10 October 2023 (Tuesday). Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages after the upgrading and maintenance works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 12:00 pm, 12 October 2023 (Thursday).
The duration of this water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. The list of areas affected by the scheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.
Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas by giving priority to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centers and funerals. Therefore, Air Selangor would like to advise the affected consumers to keep adequate water supply and use water prudently during this period of scheduled water supply disruption.
For commercial customers, the purchase of water supply can be made at any of Air Selangor’s customer service counter across all region. Commercial customers can use their respective water tankers at two local water filling stations that will be opened in Sunway Batu Caves and Selayang Mutiara.
