Emergency Repair Work On Burst Pipe Near the Ampang Point Flyover, Jalan Ampang

Kuala Lumpur –Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of a burst pipe incident near the Ampang Point Flyover, Jalan Ampang. To ensure that the emergency repair work runs smoothly, Air Selangor has suspended the water supply at 12:00 pm, 25 September 2021. This has caused an unscheduled water supply disruption in 41 areas in the Gombak Region. The list of affected areas is as Appendix A.

The repair work is expected to be fully completed at 12:00 pm tomorrow, 26 September 2021. The water supply will be distributed in stages once the repair work is completed. The water supply is expected to fully recover at 12:00 pm, 27 September 2021.

Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear face masks while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
