Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the implementation of emergency repair works due to a pipe burst at Jalan Bukit Cerakah, Bandar Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor, have commenced at 9:00 am today (Monday), as previously announced on 17 May 2023. The implementation of these works will cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in the Klang/Shah Alam and Kuala Selangor regions. These repair works are expected to be completed at 3:00 am, 23 May 2023 (Tuesday). Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages when the repair works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 9:00 pm, 24 May 2023 (Wednesday).
The duration of this water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. The list of areas that are affected by the unscheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A and can be viewed at https://bit.ly/3OoULcX.
A total of 76 water tankers have been mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals. Alternative water supply assistance through four Local Service Centres (PKS) is also provided for the convenience of consumers at the locations listed in Appendix B.
For commercial customers, the purchase of water supply can be made at Air Selangor’s customer service counters in Petaling and Kuala Selangor regions. Commercial customers can use their respective water tanker trucks at three local water filling stations at the locations listed in Appendix C.
