Kuala Lumpur – Air Selangor would like to inform on the emergency valve repair works at Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur caused by a road accident this morning. These repair works commenced at 7:30 am, 4 August 2023 (Friday) and were expected to cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in 40 areas in the Gombak region. The repair works are expected to be completed at 2:00 pm, on the same day. Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages when the repair works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 3:00 pm, 5 August 2023 (Saturday).
The duration of this water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. The list of areas that are affected by the unscheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.
Air Selangor would like to advise the affected consumers to store sufficient water supply and use water prudently throughout the period of this unscheduled water supply disruption.
