Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the repair works for the pipe burst incident in Jalan Kuari, Kg Cheras Baru, Kuala Lumpur have been completed at 4:15 am, 11 March 2022. Water supply will be distributed to consumers in the affected areas once the clean water supply has undergone quality tests and complies with the standards set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises. Water supply in all affected areas is expected to fully recover at 4:00 am, 12 March 2022.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will continue to be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption. Air Selangor is seeking the consumers’ cooperation to practise social distancing and wear face masks while collecting the water supply from the water tankers.
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor also hopes that consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure that the water supply recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
