Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the emergency repair works following a pipe burst incident at a pump house in Taman Muda, Cheras have been completed at 2:00 am, 25 April 2022.
Water supply has been distributed to the consumers’ premises in stages and is expected to fully recover at 12:00 pm, 25 April 2022. The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of areas that have not recovered.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will continue to be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption. Air Selangor is seeking the consumers’ cooperation to wear face masks while collecting the water supply from the water tankers.
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have and will be receiving water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor also hopes that consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure that the water supply recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
Air Selangor will provide updates progressively from time to time through all medium, especially the mass media. Consumers can refer to all our official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
