Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform on the latest update of water supply recovery following the emergency valve repair works due to a road accident at Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur.
As of 6:00 pm, the water supply recovery in the affected areas has reached 20%. The list of areas that have not yet recovered is in Appendix A.
The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises. The water supply has been distributed in stages to consumers’ premises and is expected to fully recover at 12:30 pm, 5 August 2023 (Saturday).
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have and will receive water supply to let the tap runs until the water is clear before using it for daily consumption. Air Selangor hopes that consumers who have received water supply will use water prudently to ensure that the recovery process in the still affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
