Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform the latest update of the water supply in seven affected regions namely Petaling, Klang/ Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, and Kuala Selangor following the shut down of Rantau Panjang Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at 11:30 p.m., 7 December 2020 and Sungai Selangor Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 WTPs at 1:00 a.m., 8 December 2020 due to the raw water pollution in Sungai Selangor.
As of 6:00 p.m. today, the water supply has stabilised in 430 areas (50%) out of the 861 areas affected. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of areas. Air Selangor is working to stabilise the water supply distribution system in 431 areas that are still affected. The percentage of recovery by region is as follows:

Alternative water supply can also be obtained at the public water taps and Pusat Khidmat Setempat (PKS) that have been made available starting 12:00 p.m. today for consumers. Please refer to Appendix B for the list of PKS and public water taps. Air Selangor would like to advise consumers to adhere to the regulations of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) while obtaining water supply from water tankers, PKS and public water taps that have been provided.
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently in ensuring the water supply can be provided to areas that have yet to stabilise following the decrease in reservoir level in the residential areas.
