Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the repair work on the broken pipes due to the landslide in Damansara Utama is running smoothly.
As of 4:00 p.m. today, the repair work has reached 54% completion since its commencement at 12:30 midnight last night. The repair work is expected to be completed by 6:00 a.m., 31 December 2020. The repair work currently being carried out involves implementing the temporary displacement of the 1,000 mm pipe, which will be placed on the shoulder of the SPRINT Highway to expedite the process of water supply recovery to the affected consumers. At the same time, the health and safety aspect of our workers has always been a priority for Air Selangor in ensuring that all repair work and water supply recovery plan can be implemented well.
Relief water supply assistance through water tankers is being mobilised to the affected areas to assist the affected consumers. Consumers can also get alternative water supply assistance from static filling stations placed at two Pusat Khidmat Setempat (PKS) that have been provided for the convenience of the affected consumers. Air Selangor advises consumers to comply with the SOP of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) when taking water supply from the water tankers and PKS provided.
Air Selangor will inform the progress of the repair work from time to time through all Air Selangor official communication channels including the website www.airselangor.com, Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
