Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform the latest update on the emergency repair works following a pipe burst incident at Pudu Ulu Baru Pump House, Taman Pertama, Kuala Lumpur.
As of 6:00 am today, the emergency repair works are still underway and have reached 70%. Air Selangor’s onsite staff were faced with some challenges due to the thick concrete present on site. Following that, the repair works are expected to be fully completed at 10:00 am, 1 May 2022.
Water supply will be distributed to consumers’ premises in stages once repair works are completed and is expected to fully recover at 10:00 pm, 1 May 2022. The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will continue to be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption.
