Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the emergency repair works due to a pipe burst at Hub Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur is being actively implemented. As of 9:00 pm, the water supply recovery status in the affected areas has reached 72%.
Alternative water supply assistance has been distributed to the affected areas to minimise the impact on consumers. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of areas that have not yet recovered.
The duration of water supply recovery period differs depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 9:00 am, 9 October 2024 (Wednesday).
Air Selangor has also mobilised water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres and funerals during the unscheduled water supply disruption.
