Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform on the latest update of the emergency repair works following the pipe burst incident at the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Kuala Lumpur.
As of 6:00 pm today, the implementation of the emergency repair works has reached 25%. The emergency repair works are expected to be completed at 11:30 am, 10 November 2021. The water supply will be distributed in stages to 13 affected areas in the Kuala Lumpur region once the works have been completed. The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral services. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all time while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
