Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform on the latest update of the water supply recovery in five (5) affected areas in the Hulu Langat region following the scheduled maintenance work involving valve replacements at three (3) locations, namely Taman Sri Indah Balakong, Cheras Inlet, and the main divider substation in front of The Mines on 28 September 2021.
As of 6:00 pm, the water supply recovery in the five (5) affected areas has reached 80%. The percentage of water supply recovery is as follows:
No | Area | Recovery Percentage (%) |
1 | Bandar Sungai Long (SL 6, 9, 10, 11) | 100 |
2 | Taman Bukit Palma | 100 |
3 | Bandar Mahkota Cheras (Jalan Putera, Jalan Puteri, Jalan Bendahara, Jalan Mahkota) | 100 |
4 | Green Park Residence | 100 |
5 | Balakong | 66.8 |
The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have and will receive their water supply to let the tap runs until the water is clear before using it for daily consumption. Air Selangor hopes that consumers who have received water supply will use their water prudently to ensure that the recovery process in the other affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
Consumers can refer to all our official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300. Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
