Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of latest update on the water supply recovery in 998 affected areas in the Petaling, Klang/Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat and Kuala Selangor regions following the upgrading and maintenance work for critical assets in Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant (SSP1 WTP) on 13 October 2021.
As of 12:00 pm today, the water supply recovery in the affected areas has reached 68%. The percentage of water supply recovery according to region is as follows:

The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary
depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. The list of areas that have recovered is as listed in Appendix A and can be obtained at hentitugas.airselangor.com.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise alternative water supply to critical premises such a hospitals, dialysis centres, COVID-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) and
Vaccination Centres (PPV) as well as for funerals.Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have and will receive their water supply to let the tap runs until the water is clear before using it for daily consumption. Air Selangor hopes that consumers who have received water supply will use their water prudently to ensure that the recovery process in the other affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
