Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of a burst pipe incident that occurred at Jalan Kuari Bukit A, Kuala Lumpur. To ensure that the emergency repair work runs smoothly, Air Selangor has suspended the water supply at 7.00 pm, 15 July 2021. Hence, 13 areas in the Kuala Lumpur region will experience an unscheduled water supply disruption. The list of affected areas are as follows:
- Kg Cheras Baru
- Pandan Mewah
- Taman Muda
- Taman Bukit Permai
- Taman Bukit Pandan
- Taman Mawar
- Taman Seraya
- Taman Mega
- Taman Bukit Teratai
- Taman Melur
- Taman Saga
- Taman Putra
- Taman Mestika
The repair work is expected to be fully completed at 7.00 am tomorrow, 16 July 2021. The water supply will be distributed to the consumers’ premises once the repair work is completed. The duration of water supply recovery differs from one area to another depending on the location and distance of the consumers’ premises
Air Selangor is mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear face masks while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
