Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of the implementation of emergency repair works due to a pipe burst at Jalan Budiman, Section 22, Shah Alam. The implementation of these works will cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in certain areas in the Klang, Shah Alam and Petaling regions starting from 6:00 pm, 26 May 2024 (Sunday). These repair works are expected to be completed at 4:00 am, 27 May 2024 (Monday). Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages when the repair works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 6:00 am, 28 May 2024 (Tuesday).
The duration of water supply recovery period differs depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system. The list of areas that are affected by the unscheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.
Air Selangor will mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres and funerals during the unscheduled water supply disruption.
