Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform the latest status of the unscheduled water disruption that is affecting the Petaling and Kuala Lumpur Regions following the broken pipes incident in Damansara Utama due to landslides. As of 9:00 a.m. today, all affected areas in the Kuala Lumpur Region have fully received the water supply.
Meanwhile in the Petaling Region, a total of 70% or 30 areas have fully recovered from the overall 43 affected areas. The list of 13 areas that have yet to recover is as in Appendix A.
Relief water supply through water tankers and Pusat Khidmat Setempat (PKS) are still made available for the convenience of the affected consumers.
Air Selangor advises consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor hopes that the consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure the recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
Air Selangor will inform the progress of the water supply recovery process from time to time through all Air Selangor official communication channels including the website www.airselangor.com, Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
