Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would would like to inform on the latest update of recovery status of water supply following the temporary shutdown at Bukit Nanas Water Treatment Plant (Bukit Nanas WTP) due to an increased colouration in the treated water at Bukit Nanas WTP.
As of 9:00 pm, the recovery process of water supply and water quality at the distribution level is being actively implemented. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of affected areas.
The duration of water supply recovery period differs depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system, as well as the recovery of water quality parameters to adhere to the compliance standards.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funeral service centres.
For commercial customers, the purchase of treated water supply can be made by contacting Air Selangor at 15300. Commercial customers can use their respective water tanker at the water filling station that has been opened at Sunway Batu Caves (Gombak region).
