Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform the latest update of the water supply recovery in 50 affected areas in the Kuala Lumpur region following the pumping pipe leak incident at the Pump House in Segambut on 10 October 2021.
As of 6:00 am today, the water supply recovery in the 50 affected areas has reached 80%. The list of areas that have not recovered is as listed in Appendix A.
The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor would like to advise consumers who have and will receive their water supply to let the tap runs until the water is clear before using it for daily consumption. Air Selangor hopes that consumers who have received water supply will use their water prudently to ensure that the recovery process in the other affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
Consumers can refer to all our official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300 to obtain information on the incident from time to time. Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
