Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the emergency repair works following the pipe burst incident near Simpang 3 LBJ, Jalan B48, Kg. Chinchang, Salak Tinggi, Sepang were completed at 2:00 pm today.
Following that, the water supply has been distributed in stages to consumers in 145 affected areas in the Sepang region and 11 affected areas in the Kuala Langat region starting from 2:30 pm today. The water supply is expected to fully recover at 10:00 am, 20 October 2021.
The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral services. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all time while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
