The Emergency Repair Works On Burst Pipe
At The Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Kuala Lumpur Completed
Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the emergency repair works following the pipe burst incident at the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Kuala Lumpur have been completed at 12:30 am, 10 November 2021.
Folllowing that, the water supply has been distributed in stages to 13 affected areas in the Kuala Lumpur region starting from 4:30 am, after the balance reservoirs level were stabilised and the water quality complied with the standards set by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The water supply is expected to fully recover at 12:30 am, 11 November 2021. The duration of the water supply recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral services. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all time while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
