Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform on the latest update of the emergency repair works following the pipe burst incident in Jalan Seruling 59, Taman Seri Andalas, Klang.
As of 1:00 pm, the water supply has fully recovered in Bandar Puteri, Klang. At the same time, the water supply recovery in the remaining 10 areas that are still affected is being actively carried out to ensure that the consumers will receive the water supply by 4:00 pm, 1 March 2022. Please refer to Appendix A for the list of areas that are still affected.
The duration of water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises.
Alternative assistance through water tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption. Air Selangor is seeking the consumers’ cooperation to practise social distancing and wear face masks while collecting the water supply from the water tankers.
Air Selangor advises consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use. Air Selangor also hopes that consumers who have received the water supply to use water prudently to ensure that the water supply recovery process in the affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled.
