Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of the implementation of repair works due to a pipe burst at Taman Mutiara Bukit Raja 2, Klang. The implementation of these works will cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in 55 areas in the Klang/Shah Alam region starting from 10:00 pm, 24 March 2023 (Friday). The list of areas affected by the unscheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.
These repair works are expected to be fully completed at 6:00 am, 25 March 2023 (Saturday). Water supply is expected to be distributed in stages when the water supply distribution system has been stabilised after the repair works are completed. The duration of this water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and water pressure at the distribution system.
Following that, Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas by giving priority to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals. Therefore, Air Selangor would like to advise the affected consumers to keep adequate water supply and use water prudently during this period of unscheduled water supply disruption.
