Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the scheduled maintenance works involving valve replacements at three (3) locations, namely Taman Sri Indah Balakong, Cheras Inlet, and the main divider substation in front of The Mines will be implemented at 9:00 pm tonight according to schedule as announced on 17 September 2021. As such, five (5) areas in the Hulu Langat region will experience a scheduled water supply disruption. The list of areas affected by the scheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A. Consumers can also visit hentitugas.airselangor.com.
The works are expected to be completed at 6:00 am, 29 September 2021. Following that, the water supply will be distributed in stages and is expected to be fully restored at 6:00 am, 30 September 2021.
The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor will be mobilising alternative water supply to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres, COVID-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) and Vaccination Centres (PPV) as well as for funerals.
