Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the upgrading and maintenance works for critical assets in Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant (SSP1 WTP) is actively being implemented. As of 5:00 pm today, the works have reached 83.9% and are still underway according to schedule.
The upgrading and maintenance works for the critical assets are expected to be completed at 11:00 pm, 13 October 2021. Following that, water supply will start to be distributed in stages once the water supply system has been stabilised, and is expected to be fully restored at 9:00 pm, 16 October 2021.
Air Selangor has mobilised alternative water supply to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres, COVID-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) and Vaccination Centres (PPV) as well as for funerals.
