Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to iupdate on the unscheduled water supply disruption due to the temporary shutdown at Sungai Bernam Water Treatment Plant (WTP Sungai Bernam) following the high turbidity of raw water caused by water surge at Sungai Bernam.
As of 6:00 pm, Air Selangor has continuously carried out regular monitoring on water quality to measure the level of raw water turbidity due to the water surge at Sungai Bernam. Alternative assistance through water tankers have been mobilised to the affected areas by giving priority to critical premises. Air Selangor is making every effort to minimise the impact of disruption on affected consumers.
