Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform on the status of the scheduled water disruption in the Petaling, Klang and Shah Alam regions following the new pipe diversion and connection works nearby the Carlsberg brewery at Persiaran Selangor Seksyen 15, Shah Alam on 30 March 2021.
As at 1:00 p.m. today, although there are still no areas in Petaling, Shah Alam and Klang regions that have fully recovered, the consumers who have received water supply based on the number of accounts stand at 25.42%, which is 12,462 out of a total of 49,030 affected consumer accounts.
The duration of the disruption and the water supply recovery of the affected areas differ according to the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor would like to advise the consumers who have received their water supply to let water flow from the tap until it is clear before using it for daily usage. Air Selangor hopes that the consumers who have received their water supply will use water prudently to allow recovery process in the affected areas to run smoothly as scheduled.
